Driving Directions:
The Palisades is on the south side of NC Hwy 49 approaching the Buster Boyd Bridge. It is adjoining Lake Wylie in Mecklenburg County across from McDowell Park.
From Uptown or South Charlotte:
-Take I-77 south to Carowinds Boulevard. Turn right on Carowinds Boulevard.
-Follow Carowinds Boulevard until it ends at the Tryon Street intersection (Hwy 49).
-Turn left on Hwy 49. Follow Tryon (Hwy 49) for approximately 3-4 miles. The entrance to The Palisades will be on your left (look for the white stone waterfall).
-Turn left into the community on Grand Palisades Parkway and follow approximately 2 miles.
-Go straight through the round about, end at 13704 Grand Palisades Pkwy (shuttle pick up will be in large parking lot on left).
From South Carolina:
Take I-77 North to Hwy 160 Exit. Take Hwy 160 west to Tryon Street (Hwy 49).
-Turn left on Tryon Street (Hwy 49). Go approximately 2.5 miles and entrance to The Palisades will be on your left.
-Turn left into the community on Grand Palisades Parkway and follow approximately 2 miles.
-Go straight through the round about, end at 13704 Grand Palisades Pkwy (shuttle pick up will be in large parking lot on left).
From Lake Wylie / Belmont:
-Follow Tryon Street (Hwy 49) north over Buster Boyd Bridge into North Carolina (approx 1 mile). The entrance to The Palisades will be on your right (look for the white stone waterfall).
-Turn right into the community on Grand Palisades Parkway and follow approximately 2 miles.
-Go straight through the round about, end at 13704 Grand Palisades Pkwy (shuttle pick up will be in large parking lot on left).
From I-85 North:
Take I-485 East to Hwy 160 Exit. Go East on Hwy 160 and merge right on Shopton Road.
-Follow Shopton Road to Tryon (Hwy 49). Turn right on Tryon Street (Hwy 49). The entrance to The Palisades will be on your left (look for the white stone waterfall).
-Turn left into the Palisades on Grand Palisades Parkway and follow approximately 2 miles.
-Go straight through the round about, end at 13704 Grand Palisades Pkwy (shuttle pick up will be in large parking lot on left).
From I-85 South:
Take I-485 West to I-77 South. Take I-77 South to Carowinds Boulevard.

Want to join Her Majesty's Secret Service? We're looking for dedicated volunteers to join our MI6 Team. The Bond Evening will be entirely run by volunteers, and although some of the volunteers spend time throughout the year coordinating the event, others offer their services immediately before, or on the day of the event.
We need volunteers:
- to set up props, decorate and break down after the event,
- to collect, sell and/or distribute will-call tickets at the event;
- distribute promotional materials online, workplace, spas, etc.
